Somebody sacrificed life, liberty, and the pursuit of their own happiness
so that we could live our dreams.
Shame on us if we’re too “afraid” of failure or
what others might think to pursue them.

Happy New Year Champion!
2015 is “The Year of Ascension & Transformation!”
This is the year where you finally listen to your heart and make a bold move in the direction of your greatest desires. And I’m going to help you!
Over the past several years as a coach, consultant and speaker, I’ve come across a multitude of people who have great careers, big salaries, beautiful homes and wonderful families. Yet, when the door closes and we’re in private, they feel safe to open up to me, and, often times they share, they’re suffering.
They’re stressed, fearful, and dissatisfied. They want more meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. They feel like hostages to the life they’ve created.
Many do their best to turn their minds off, sleepwalk through life, or numb themselves so they don’t have to cope with the pain. They’re present physically, but mentally, emotionally, spiritually, they’re absent. Their window of opportunity to live with deeper meaning is passing them by and it creates great stress.
Today is the day we take a small step—together—in the direction of answering the knock on the door of your heart and listen to that small, still voice that says, “Rise!”
INVITATION
As a coach, I’ve had the privilege of reading and recommending hundreds of books to clients and friends. Now, I’m going to do something I should have done long ago and you are invited to join me and others.
I’m launching the Reaching Your Star Book Club. If you can remember, Oprah Winfrey is the person who brought the idea of book clubs to the television masses and made it popular. She created a community where people were entertained and experienced personal growth simultaneously.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this club is to create a highly engaged and active community of like-minded, growth-focused people who want more from life and welcome the journey of self-discovery in an environment that is supportive, collaborative, encouraging, and most importantly, safe to express the depth of your soul’s desire to grow.
“People come for content, but they stay for community.”
WHY A BOOK CLUB?
Reading is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Reading drives intellectually curiosity, challenges personal paradigms, and stirs up creativity. One thought from one book can literally change your life.
Reading enlightens and inspires ordinary people to live extraordinary lives.
DETAILS
WHEN: Every Thursday at 6:00pm Pacific starting January 8, 2015. Our first meeting will be a kickoff call to introduce the club and discuss the community and other details.
WHERE: Facebook and weekly conference call meetings.
COST: Absolutely nothing to join. The only cost is your time and the cost of the books we read. And the first one is FREE!!!
So, HOW do you join?
Simple. Email me at fthomas@coachft.com and put “Book Club” in the subject line. I will forward the details for the virtual club meetings, how to access the secret Facebook page only visible to book club members, and how to access the first book “Re-Awaken The Giant Within” by Anthony Robbins…FREE in ebook format (pdf, iBooks, or Kindle).
Don’t delay. We get started in a few short days. This one decision can be the catalyst to get you to show up fully for yourself and your family!
If you’re one of those people who claim you don’t have time to read, I encourage you to make time. Time never “appears” for anything; you have to make it.
The secrets to life are hidden in the pages of books. If you’re not making the time to read, you are learning about life through your own experiences. That, my friend, is way too costly.
I hope you’ll join us!
Happy New Year,
Frank Thomas
P.S. Reaching Your Star Book Club is open to your friends, family, and colleagues. Feel free to forward to those like-minded people you respect and care about.
What is your attitude toward the future? What do you expect the future to hold for you? Do you think things will get better or worse for you?
Answer the following questions related to your expectations for the coming year and beyond:
Do you expect your annual income to go up or down? Up / Down
Do you expect your net worth to increase or decrease? Increase / Decrease
Do you expect to have more or fewer business or career opportunities? More / Fewer
Do you expect your marriage (or most significant relationship) to get better or worse? Better / Worse
Do you expect your bond with your children to get better or worse? Better / Worse
Do you expect to have more or fewer friendships? More / Fewer
Do you expect your faith to be stronger or weaker? Stronger / Weaker
Do you expect to be in better or worse physical condition? Better / Worse
If you’re like most people, your answers reflect that you expect the days ahead to be better. Now, let me ask you one more question:
Why do you think that?
Is your expectation based on anything other than a vague hope that your life will get better? I trust it is.
For many people, it’s not. They just figure tomorrow is bound to be better. In fact, the worse some people feel about today, the more they exaggerate how good tomorrow is likely to be. They have a lottery mindset. Hoping for a good future without investing in today is like a farmer waiting for a crop without planting any seed.
That’s not you. You understand the importance of investing in yourself to attain the success you desire.
With 2014 only days away, many people desiring a better life will attempt to make a New Year’s resolution (i.e. make more money, get a promotion, get in better shape, increase business revenue). But for all the good intentions, only a tiny fraction of people keep their resolutions; in fact, research suggests that just 8% achieve their New Year’s resolutions.
Why is that?
Most New Year’s resolutions are wishes, not goals. A wish means it would be “nice to have if it happens but, if not, oh well.” A goal means it is something “I really want to happen and I’ll figure out how to go about it and put in the necessary effort.” Most people who are serious about changing set goals.
Those who are serious about getting physically fit hire a personal trainer. Why? Because their goal is important to them and they’re willing to invest in themselves to fulfill the lifestyle they’ve chosen. They want something and they’ll do what’s required to achieve their desired results.
I’m not sure if achieving greater success for your business, career, or life is important to you. But if it is, I’d be happy to speak with you about how you can set and achieve the goals you have that will make 2014 your best year yet!
To you success,
Frank Thomas
